Work Vent.

Coworker called me out in front of all our other coworkers on me calling him out during a work meeting in regards to his tardiness. It was intended as a light jab, but he took offense to it, as he should due to me not knowing the backstory of his late arrivals to work. I apologized but there’s still that weird aftermath tension being that he and I are cool at work. Respectfully, instead of calling me out in front of other coworkers, he could’ve put a foot forward and pulled me aside for a more private conversation to exchange more respectful and understanding communication of the event. Oh well.
