Then again, it might not matter. I know these are intelligent logical people, who are where they are going. They’ve been there for for some time now. I don’t think it matters. Being realistic, I don’t think anything could come from it. I am not even really sure what I’m looking for tbh. Anything more than I have already done, which I don’t believe is bad or negative, I’m not sure if anything further would be too much. I hate to say it but it would likely be pointless. Unfortunately. It’s like my manager said to me a while back when I was bitching at him about something, the way it was set up he said “look, I don’t care…. I care, but I don’t care…” And I get that. I know what he means sometimes.
I gotta say, with the roles reversed, and I know they were a while back, I heard nothing. Which in all honesty did surprise me (should it? I don’t know) but at the same time I can’t really say it’s telling, because I don’t know if anyone was aware.
I don’t know. I think I get too nostalgic for my own good. More than most people. It’s to a fault. The majority of people don’t look back or put any value into what has already been. They might, but not in the same way. Me? I am the kind of guy who every once in a while gets into his car at night, goes to my old area of town, like I mean 1979-1986, drives by my old public school, my old house, my friends old houses, any place that ever meant anything to me. I drive to my old town for work often, but it’s strictly business. And old grocery store can stir up things in me. I will be in the receiving area looking at a nail in the wall up high and think “I wonder if that was there, when my parents took me shopping here when I was 9, and I saw my little school crush with her parents passing by us in the isles, me smiling and waiting hi :). MAYBE I’ll crane my neck and concentrate my eyes so I can catch a faint glimpse of my old street through some trees driving by on a parallel highway? But when I’m on a nostalgia trip on my own, yeah.
Does anyone else care? I think maybe everyone does, but the thing about 2 way care is it’s never really coordinated in a 2 way care kind of thing. when it comes to people, I think it’s usually 1 person cares, the other is in their own world.
