A friend sent me to africa to create a documentary for his non profit that benefits the developing country rwanda. I was young and naive and went on whim, thinking it would be an aggressive start to my film career. I never finished it. I spent the money he gave me, but took so long editing it and reediting it that the non profit dissolved from lack of funding before ever seeing a final product. eventually my friend had to threaten legal action to get all the footage and equipment back from me.
