I am feeling so intensely euphoric because I am moving from LI to NYC in officially just under two weeks. I truly cannot believe that everything I’ve done to get to this point has finally paid off. To say I’m ecstatic is an understatement. However, I feel so isolated and though I cannot celebrate this moment because a friend of mine who was also supposed to move to NYC (albeit from Los Angeles) is, for financial reasons, unable to make the move, and I feel like I cannot openly celebrate this moment because of it.
