Consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist is struck off for groping four female colleagues.
A former professor of obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Birmingham has been struck off the UK medical register for the “opportunistic” groping of four younger female colleagues, including a midwife who was in the middle of helping to deliver twins.
Khaled Ismail, 50, who was also a consultant with Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust, told a medical practitioners tribunal in Manchester that he denied the allegations, which related to incidents from 2013 to 2015. They were made by a junior doctor, called Dr A by the tribunal; by two nurses, named as Nurse B and Nurse C; and by a trustee with whom he had sat on a scientific committee, called Ms D in the case.
No surprise here. If it was the patients that were fondled, then nothing would have been said. There are numerous posts here from patients who were abused in the hospital. There are also a couple of nurses who post who about their escapades in torturing, humiliating and abusing patients for entertainment.
The “Professor’s” error was that he did it to fellow colleagues. Colleagues are supposed to support each other not be a victim of each other. They act as a “Team” to accept, promote and cover up each other’s penchants. In unison they deny any accusations made my abused patients. The patient is painted as an unstable disturbed person.
The medical field, like all others ifs filled with hypocrites. It wouldn’t be surprising if the junior doctor, and the two nurses tormented patients while the trustee watched and joined in.
The older nurses who had ethics, all retired or were discharged during Covid. Now the hospitals are filled with young ‘woke’ nurses, doctors, technicians who have no interest in ‘ethics’.
The poor ‘Professor’ was a Consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, so he should have realized that he could have all the fun he wanted when examining young girls restrained on the examination table. His staff would have covered for him. Many of the young girls would have believed that his actions were just a routine part of the examination.
