I’m 37. Dated a lot but only loved one person. Unfortunately I broke up with her 4 years ago, and despite my best efforts still not over her.

Yesterday I saw her for the first time in years. We passed directly beside each other but acted like we didn’t see each other.

Broke my heart, but I can’t tell anyone because I’m sick of hearing “it was years ago, get over it”.
