My mother singlehandedly ruined a career path I had on my own through strict diligence and self-teaching by completely ignoring/dismissing/belittling me and my work.

I can only hope she feels the pain she’s put me through all my life, and that she meets someone that assures her nearly daily she’s as useless, if not more, than I am.
