My boyfriend beats my cat. He threatens to beat it to death. He picks him up by the neck and throws him around. And I’m picking him over my beloved little animal. I’d rather take the L and tell people I’m s*** at being a cat mom instead of telling people I wanna put him up for adoption bc my boyfriend is abusing him. I wish I wasn’t so in love and so dependent on him… I wanna scream in his face “you’re abusing my cat you p************” but he’d just leave me. So I have to choose between them. My cat would just be safer and happier far away from him… and therefore far away from me too.
