I never really felt connected to my modern culture of my native land because of white people and what Korean culture has become. The other stuff – I love, respect, treasure. But what it’s become……. I detest it. And it’s one of those super popularized cultures now. UGH like where you feel compelled to approach someone because you’re attracted to the people, media, food, etc. Like f*** off, I feel like that deterred me a lot from liking what my culture has now become. It’s gross when other people especially whites fetishize it. No, you are NOT welcome WHITE PEOPLE.
