I was touched by the story of a girl who died suddenly of leukemia. Her memory inspired me to reach out and become friends with another alumni of my high school who had the same leukemia named Jennifer. Jennifer survived leukemia and she inspired me to become a teacher at a Native School Board. Because Jennifer inspired me to become a teacher at the Native School Board, I have students telling me that I’m their favorite teacher and I got to touch their lives.

This all happened because I was touched by the story of a girl who died suddenly of leukemia….a girl named Sue
