Yes I think you are right about young boys being the most desirable patients for abuse, but some of them bring it on themselves.
My sister works at the hospital. They had a problem patient, a young boy. He assaulted someone and spit on the nurses. So instead of putting the plastic patient ID strap around his wrist, they put it around his balls and c***.
That plastic bracelet has a bar code that must be scanned for every interaction with the patient. The ID strap is scanned before giving every medication, it’s scanned before drawing blood, it’s scanned when food service delivers the meal tray, it’s scanned frequently. Medical equipment in the room is scanned daily and then the patient’s ID is scanned to make a match.
He was restrained in his bed, covered to keep warm except for his c*** being left totally uncovered, and his legs spread wide open so his ID could be scanned. A real embarrassment for him since everyone handled his c*** and balls to slide the plastic ID strap around to be scanned.
There was nothing he could do about it. He had no say over who entered his room or handled his c*** to scan his ID. I saw the pics of him spread open with his c*** hanging out and his ID strap around his c*** and balls. I guess it wasn’t really abusive since he had it coming.
They wanted him restrained and not allowed out of bed, so the nurse put a catheter up his c***. I saw the video of that process too. It was a sight to see. He was hung for a young boy, except his c*** looked flat and not round enough. It stood up for the nurse when she put the catheter up in him. He’ll remember to not spit on the nurses next time. I heard they did other things too.
