I’m sick of having to pretend that I’m interested in my dad’s conversations. I spend hours with him, basically being held verbally hostage, and when I’m done I just want a quiet morning the next day. Nope! Instead I have to sit and listen again. I get that he wants to talk, but it’s completely one sided, and I wish he had the social intelligence to tell when someone doesn’t want him around, and to tell that people aren’t disrespectful if they feel that way. Just f****** shut up for once.
