I’m against police brutality, but what pisses me off about the George Floyd protests is that most of them aren’t thinking bigger. 100k COVID deaths, 200k projected, the majority of which could have been prevented if the US leadership was remotely competent. Economy in freefall, 40 million unemployed, medical care that will bankrupt people, and both Democrats and Republicans give hundreds of billions of corporations while everyone else gets breadcrumbs. And our choices for November are between a p************ and an even bigger p************.

Why the f*** aren’t you pissed about that? Why aren’t you fighting for s*** that would make everyone’s lives exponentially better? Oh sure, it’d ‘dilute the message’ about police brutality. Okay, but the thousands that have been beaten/murdered from police brutality over the decades is still but a drop in the bucket compared to the hundreds of thousands of COVID deaths, uninsured/underinsured people, suicides from these issues, etc. But one incident of police brutality is what did it?
