I HATE talking to professors in their offices! I hate it! I am a grad student and I have a degree dammit but I feel like I’m a 10-year-old spitting out useless info and I am so self-conscious the entire time that I forget to listen to what they say and GOD I hate it so much! I am so focused on whether or not I sound like an idiot or hating myself for sounding like an idiot that I end up stuttering and saying the wrong things and just being awkward and for the love of everything I just wanted to have a conversation about a bit of research! WHY
