I’m doing my own work plus covering for someone who had way more experience than i do. i have three hours a day to finish work that took someone with more experience eight hours, and that’s only AFTER i finish my own work each day. but they still haven’t yet hired anyone new.

i was told that the work backing up wouldnt reflect negatively on me, and today i overheard my boss on the phone mentioning me by name and asking about emails i hadn’t responded to.

i can only handle so much at a time, and if i lose this job i could lose my car, my insurance, my partner, and my life-saving meds. i would be ruined and i would honestly and seriously be considering suicide. but i cant tell anyone that because they’d worry. is this what life is all about?? there’s gotta be more.
