To: the tried & true running car in a garage works, with carbon monoxide you’ll never feel it, Me: Knew a bloke once who wanted to die by carbon monoxide poisoning. Funny as hell. He put a hose in the exhaust pipe and fed it into his car and blocked the open windows with clothing, turned on his music and sat back waiting to pass out and suffocate. He got hotter and hotter, but did not pass out or even feel groggy. In the end, he gave up dying that way. Turned out that modern car engines run on unleaded petrol and since there was no longer any lead in the petrol, you can’t die that way – it is just not possible
