A guy assaulted me s******* in his van. He was younger than me, he was 21, I was 25. Though I was an adult when it happened, I felt very confused and wasn’t sure about what happened. He did it with his fingers, and while he was doing it, I was trying to push his arms away because it hurt. During this experience, I felt like a little girl, helpless and unable to speak. While he was hurting me, the young man was also assuring me that he wasn’t there to hurt me, but to make me feel good, even though I was making it clear through my body language and whimpering that I was uncomfortable and in pain. After it happened, he acted like he did nothing wrong and never really talked about it until I brought it up once, and he responded by telling me that he wasn’t even “trying”…but I know what happened.
