I really wanted to be happy yesterday. S was here and I just wanted it to be good. It was going really well. We were baking. Or, trying to bake. We kind of s*** at it. But then my cat died. Her name was Missy. She was on the floor and just wouldn’t wake up. She didn’t have a heartbeat. And she wasn’t breathing. My sister was crying her eyes out. So we went outside, dug a grave, and buried her. I didn’t want to cry in front of S and I especially didn’t want to cry in front my sister so I forced myself to hold together. But when me and S went upstairs to my bedroom, and I saw the window ledge where Missy would always sleep, the tears just came. And I couldn’t stop them. And it was embarrassing. I don’t like crying in front of people. But S hugged me really hard. It almost hurt. But it was good. And he ruffled my hair. Like he always does. And I couldn’t stop crying into his shirt. It was so awful. And then he left to take care of the food in the oven and I ended up falling asleep because crying just drains all the energy out of me. When I woke up he was in my sister’s room telling her jokes and trying to cheer her up. I really appreciated that. It was getting late. And my mom wasn’t home yet. She was out with her boyfriend all day, and she wouldn’t be back until the next morning. She really just didn’t care that our cat had died. She was going to keep hanging out with her bf and not come home. So S ended up spending the night. No, we didn’t do anything bad. In fact, the three of us were in the living room watching movies until two in the morning. Then my sister fell asleep. So I carried her to her room. And then S got a bunch of blankets and made himself a place to sleep on the ground next to my bed. I felt bad that he was sleeping on the floor. But I was too embarrassed to ask him he wanted to share my bed. I didn’t have a nightmare this time though. He was still asleep when I woke up in the morning. So me and my sister went to the backyard. She started to collect a bunch of flowers and put them all around the grave. And she started to cry again. It was sad. I don’t like seeing her cry. After breakfast, S had to leave. He picked up my sister and said goodbye. And then he hugged me and told me that he loves me and said goodbye. So now I’m alone with my sister. And my mom’s still not home. Which is fine. I don’t want to see her. She’s never here for us when we need her. But I’m glad S was.here. I feel stupid saying this, because I’m so young and because I’ve only known him for a few months, but I really can’t imagine being with anyone other than him. I really love him.
