I met someone who reminded me of my younger self today. Passive, sensitive, so very afraid of conflict. I could practically see the footprints on her face from all the people who walk over her. I defended her when someone much larger than her got in her face and intimidated her. I treated her to lunch and we became friends. I’m going to toughen her up and teach her how to be a b****, like I wish someone had done for me before I had to learn the hard way.
