I’m coming up with a rule I intend to follow the rest of my life: if someone does something good or kind to you, pass the favor onto three other people. For instance, due to the government shutdown, I am literally penniless, and my pharmacist paid for me to have a bottle of cold medicine so I could feel better. Later that day, I helped a very elderly lady at the grocery store by putting all her bags in the trunk of her car when no store employee was available.
I wish people could be more kind. If someone does something good for you, you do good for three others.
