I feel as though I’ll get attacked on Tumblr if I post this but it’s been bothering me.

I watch Voltron Legendary Defenders with my lil brother (he’s 10) and I’m a member of the fandom but I don’t ship the characters. VLD is too cute for me to ship and I always said, “I just want them happy.”

My little brother was crying at the end of the finale. When I asked him why, he said that he wished that Shiro and Keith became a couple. I asked him why he thought that and he said,”Shiro and Keith had the best relationship! I liked them together like (our gay neighbours) and I thought they’d be happiest together.”

Honestly, from an analytical perspective – he’s right. Even if it comes off a lil grooming-like, they do seem to be best suited for each other. Like Allura and Lance, Shiro and Keith are a part of each other’s stories and I can’t imagine them ever being apart from each other.

My lil brother really looked up to Shiro – he thinks he’s cool and a “badass” and reminded me of how much I loved the Red Ranger as a kid :D.
