Just returned from a hospice where I saw my friend Walter, a poet I have been friends with for over 20 years. He told me last week that there is 90% chance that a newly found tumor in his kidneys is malignant. This would mean an early death. I spoke not long ago to mrk about my love for Walter and how it was not s***** in nature. Walter and I also ed ended up having a discussion on language and education. We probably chatted for over 2 hours. Ed enjoyed the conversation.
