This seems to be kinda like a vent site but it says “anonymous confessions” so imma confess something kinda gross. I believe I had the beginning stages of an ingrown toenail from wearing Converse all the time. By beginning stages I mean it DEFINITELY wasn’t infected or dangerous yet. I was just having pain in the top left corner of the big toe nail on my right foot and it looked like a corner of skin overlapped the nail but the nail wasn’t stabbing into the skin yet, just pressing against it in a painful manner. Well, it’d been like this for a few months and no home remedies were working and I didn’t want to deal with a doctor visit or anything so today I decided “My nail has grown long enough, I’ll take a pair of nail clippers and fix this myself.” and I dealt with it (not gonna describe all of it because it’s kinda gross). I ended up, little by little, getting the little bit of nail under the skin out. I just wanted to say it so I won’t bring it up to friends and be gross because I feel accomplished for fixing the problem myself.

NOW, IF YOU READ THIS AND YOU THINK YOU HAVE AN INGROWN TOENAIL, DON’T TRY TO FIX IT YOURSELF. IT WAS PAINFUL, THERE WAS A BUT OF BLOOD (not a lot but it was still there), AND I’M NOT SURE IF THIS WILL 100% WORK. JUST GO SEE A DOCTOR, ESPECIALLY IF YOU THINK IT IS INFECTED.
