Okay, so here we go. The Kohls in my neighborhood always sends out these little coupons for 10 dollars, so I decided to get some s*** from there since I was already running errands. I was walking around probably for like 30 minutes and then I found some pillows on sale, so I decided to get those. Before I even found the pillows, there were these expensive lip balms, $12.88 for two. I took them, took some pants and pretended to try them on in the dressing room, just to steal the lip balms. I walk out, get the pillows, and then (like a dumbass) I think “hey, I should throw out the packaging just in case”, so I go back, pillows in tow, and throw the packaging for the lip balms away in the trash by the dressing room. I check out, even going so far as to be friendly with the cashier, and I walk out and I’m stopped by these two guys, telling me to come with them or they’ll call the police, so I go head held high, and I’m in the room. I give them the lip balms and I stupidly give them my ID and they take down my info. I sign some form telling me that I’m banned from Kohls and that I’ll get a civil demand in the mail. Walking out after all that, I was so f****** embarrassed, but I put on a fake smile and walked out as if nothing was wrong.
