How can people really believe that the news media is actually giving all the facts? They’re delivering the news in the most sensational way possible, riling up as many people as they can so they can get views and get more money in their pockets. They’re creating fear, panic, anger and hatred so that people will stay on their televisions for constant updates, not caring how their newscasts affect viewers. This goes for internet news sites and all the big news papers. They leave out whatever they don’t want you to see. The news is not about delivering the unvarnished truth anymore. It’s about delivering opinions and only a sprinkling of truth so they can turn you to their way of thinking. And this happens with every news company, no matter what their political affiliation.

When I worked with a newspaper I took an oath to deliver unbiased news. I soon realized, however, that the oath meant nothing. I left the journalism field when my Editor returned my articles with whole paragraphs crossed out for deletion. His excuses were crap. It was all about sensationalism and delivering what he wanted people to hear.

I’m not in journalism anymore. It’s all too damn dishonest, greedy and fake. A word to the wise: Take EVERYTHING you read or see in the news with a whole shaker of salt. I can guarantee you, you aren’t getting all the facts. You’re probably getting a few lies.
