The consumption of large amounts of hot Genoa salami caused, several hours later, terrible discomfort in my abdomen. Soon I was on the toilet with diarrhea-like symptoms. Searing gas filled my colon. My sphincter burned as the stools passed; stools that were narrow, long and snake-like. It was hellish but I yearn for it again.
