I don’t understand people who always put themselves and their own wants and needs first. It just doesn’t make sense to me. I know we need to take care of ourselves to a certain extent, but it seems that empathy and compassion are things of the past. People only care about what they want and how they can get it without any consideration for others and what their actions could cause. This is why the world is so messed up. No one cares about anyone else. They only care about themselves.
