Falling in true love is overrated and is a movie made concept that society places in front of us to chase after. I may not be the prettiest, skinniest, or have a subservient attitude when it comes down to men, but romance is very dead. I have tried so hard to step out of my normal circle of men, and no matter where I find them, I find myself not impressed by them. They either have a wife or girlfriend that they are planning on cheating on, and are looking for on the side fun. I will not be someone’s plaything while he sorts out his feelings for his S/O, neither will I accidentally conceive someone’s accidental by-blow. Its nice to have s**, it really is, but after that, sometimes I want more than that. I am happy with myself, I’m just not what society wants, and this is something that I’m going to have to learn to be okay with.
