I want to make enough so that I can splurge on gifts to the people who’ve been helping me get better. I know I pay for their services but sometimes you click with someone and you just want to do something extra as a nice thing for them, to let them know they’re really appreciated. I have a wonderful trainer who I’d love to spoil with a new video game (I convinced her to get a Switch haha! Her first new console in a DECADE, I’m so proud!) and I’d love to surprise my pharmacist with a couple bottles of my favorite nail polish. She got such a lovely understated manicure last time I saw her and we chatted about loving the same kind of French tipped almond nails just as a very classic style and oooh I know JUST the perfect kind of pretty top coat she could layer ontop of her manicure when she gets tired of it.
Honestly I’d just love to do fun stuff like that all the time. I don’t have to be best friends with someone to enjoy their company and discern a nice present to surprise then with, and I wish I had the money to do that kind of thing.
I dunno.. I guess I sound really weird but, wouldn’t it be nice if that sort of thing was a normal occurrence? Haven’t you ever wanted to give something nice to someone cuz they were just always such a lovely person that brightened your day just that little extra bit?
