Why am I the devil for being white?
What did I do to deserve this? I’ve never treated anyone like they’re less than me I’ve never done anything to harm someone purely because of they’re skin color
Do I need to pay for my ancestors mistakes that I had no control over?
Do I need to pay for the mistakes of people I don’t know?
I’ve got no control over the struggles you face
And yet I’m paying for the sins of others everyday… I can’t walk through campus without being in constant fear of loosing everything I’ve worked so hard for
One mistake is all it would take to get expelled

Because White people like you enjoy a facial wealth that was built on the backs of generations of blacks and indians that came before you — and you benefit from that accumulated wealth

I always laugh when people call me a privileged white colonist or slaver because I’m Irish and Native American… My people were treated like shit. I don’t think any of my recent ancestors (can’t speak for the prehistoric era) were slaves but I know they didn’t have the money for slaves. I also don’t care if people “appropriate” my culture because my cultures are freakin’ awesome and, of course, people like them.
