I tired of people saying that they’re introverts then acting like the complete opposite of that

  • So an introvert told you they were an introvert, or YOU THOUGHT, you judged them as an introvert and they turned out to not be an introvert? Does this happen a lot? What does it matter? That almost doesn’t make any sense? I mean I can tell immediately from knowing someone in person if they’re an introvert or have some introverted tendencies. Online you can’t tell, it’s one of those things that makes online dating and knowing people an impossibility to me, I need to feel these things, but Im old school that way. You are not going to be able to tell yourself until you actually know them. And people change too right? Somebody at 20 who comes across as maybe introvert in ways at 20 might be completely different at 40. Somebody who had no direction or work ethic at 20 could have both in spades at 40.

  • Some people can be both. I’m very shy and quiet at first when meeting people, and am not the most talkative around strangers or even in big groups. I’m what most consider an introvert on the outside. But when I get to know someone better, I can be very loud, excitable, energetic, and even a bit self absorbed, and such dominant traits are associated with extroverts. We all have different sides to us.
