I get so incredibly annoyed when Yanks mutilate the beautiful English language. Hey, here’s a hint: it’s called English. If you want to mess it up, at least have the decency to call it American. Then I don’t care what mispellings and other abominations you do to it.

I would caution you as to how attached you might get to the language. Language changes and evolves. Sometimes with one calls improper is actually the evolution of the language. These little changes can completely change it. Look up some old English. You will be able to neither understanding in written form nor in spoken form. Therefore, never get too attached.
English has always been a language that changes and adapts, and never has been for purity. Perhaps, Icelandic, but English is the most versatile language, probably. English started as a Germanic language, then the Normans came over and it meld with a dead dialect of French. That’s why we say beef and cow. Then a whole bunch of other words came and are tacked on the language. The word, assassin, is from Arabic, and the word, orange, comes from a Dravidian (Indian) language. What you propose for, or dream of, is not how English works.
Yes lately Americans have butchered the language.
It’s caused by this lazy, attitude we now portray.
Dress lazy, work lazy, talk lazy. Every thing has to be done before we even start! The few that work …hard ,don’t agree with the current popularity.
If you don’t know the word just use Ebonics, or make up a word to sound smart! Or just use the first letters ,it take 1\2 second less time….it’s faster.
