Husband and I finally found our own place and are moving in next month. When the MIL found out, first thing she did was insist we give her a key so she can “come over and walk the dogs”. Sat down with my husband afterwards and we were on the same page: No. She is absolutely never getting a key to our house. She will not have any access to it, ESPECIALLY when we are not home. No uninvited visits either.
