Should I call the police. My mom is drunk and she keeps screaming and yelling and being very very verbal. She is the only adult supervision in the house and she is a wasted trainwreck. She can barely stand and she can barely speak. Should I call the police even when no physical violence is going on?

  • Yes you need to. Stuff like this has happened to me before. I understand it’s hard but you need to call the police before things get worse. Something can go horribly wrong if you don’t call.

  • I would recommend calling the police, it is not the first time people have called the police for something like this even if nothing physical has happened yet. It is always a possibility that she will end up actually doing something physical in some way to you which might end up hurting you or put you in danger. If she is this drunk than you cannot know for sure. You are allowed to call the police in a situation with this, they won’t give you a lecture for calling them in a situation like this even if they are “just” really verbal.
