Definitely not. I met my husband when I was 19. He’s 19 years older. We’re still together 9 years later. 2 kids. Age hasn’t been a factor at all. I find we balance each other out really well.
It’s not so much the years. Do you like the similar music, similar movies, etc? Does he get on OK with your friends, are you OK with his? He may get nostalgic for songs he heard when he was 19 and you were 2. When you’re 25 and he’s 42 you might want to party while he wants to stay home. Just stuff to consider. Then again, if you’re not thinking long term none of this matters.
It all depends on the 2 of you as idividuals. If he wild for his age and you are mild for your age and can br happy like that it’s not a problem. But remember, that 17 years is forever. So when your 55 he’s 72. Youll want to go do things, he may not be physically capable. But I’ve met folks that were 35 and not interested in anything more than going to work and sleeping. On yhe flip side I have a 62 year old lady that Im friends with that puts my 38 year old wife to shame LOL she lives life to yhe fullest! I know very few 30 somethings that could keep up with her!

Not wrong. Potentially more difficult but you’ll find out.
