When I was 16, I became a helper for a neighbor who ran a private ambulance service. The first night, we got a call about a man having a heart attack. My employer gave me a quick rundown on how to operate the oxygen mask. When we got him into the ambulance, I did what I thought I was told to do but later found out I did it wrong. I was DEPRIVING the man of oxygen during the ride to the hospital.
I think I may have killed someone.
