I’ve written about a girl I have admired from a distance. She’s intelligent and charming, and I’ve been afraid of saying anything to her for fear of scaring her away. She doesn’t wear any rings so I didn’t know if she’s not married or is and doesn’t wear her ring.
On Friday we were chatting about what each was planning for the weekend and she said “my husband has a friend who’s coming to visit us….”
I feel like an idiot.
