What does it mean when someone says they’re in love with someone apposed to saying they love someone. Does the word With mean that the other person loves them too?
I ask because i overheard a guy at a party say that he’s in love with my wife.

He loves her plain and simple but then again it depends on the circumstances of that love. It doesnt mean she loves him too.

Well if he loves her and you love her but she loves you and he says he loves her but she love him then he loves you and she loves them and your in love with him and he’s with her but he’s with you then where does he come in?
