im almost 15 and i still have no freedom whatsoever. all my friends are asking me to hang out and i still cant. i have no control over my own body because my parents think that its theirs or something. i recently asked my mom to allow me to remove my pubic hair and she said no again. its embarrassing as i am a swimmer and would not like it to embarrassingly come out of my bathing suit. she doesnt care and im going to be mortified. my mom acts like she knows exactly what shes saying and doing but she doesnt. she is an asian mom and gets eveything ‘fact’ off wechat saying that my valid sources are reliable. like what source are you getting it from?! my mother doesnt get much pubic hair as she is chinese and we dont typically get much but i do. i have thick hair while she is the opposite. i explained everything but she doesnt care. all she cares about is her winning the damn arguement. there are times where i just wish my mom would actually listen to me as my mom and dad never do. my dad always sides with my mom and im sick of everything that has been going on. yes. i may sound like a brat but i dont want to elaborate to the point where every person who sees this knows all the drama in my life.

I’m a swimmer too, I shave “down there” without my parents permission. It’s not like they are ever going to see it right. I get how you feel though.
You should continue to shave. I would die if someone saw hair even if I wasn’t swimming. I’m going to agree that they are wrong for not allowing you to shave. How embarrassing. Get your hands on as many razors as you can and keep shaving.
