Thoughts That Make Me Less Nervous
1. Your breathing is the only thing that matters
2. You have plenty of time
3. No one is judging you. They aren’t even paying attention, and that’s fine.
4. (If home) Focus on Hamilton or Shelby
5. If you doubt everything else, just know you have a friend in Hamilton & Shelby
6. (If can) Listen to music that calms you with it emotional vibes. This way you know at least someone else has felt this way.
7. (If home) Hug Leah, Mr. Bear, & Mr. Monkey
8. (If sunny out) Feel the sun’s embracing warmth, imagine yourself somewhere nature-filled and secluded
9. Try to focus on a menial task to just keep you afloat, like writing!
10. Stretch. Don’t half-a** it. A nice good one
11. If you have to, separate yourself from people to calm down. It’s ok
12. Maybe try reading a nice book (poetry is nice, especially Shel Silverstein)
13. Look at memes if it makes you feel better
14. J O U R N A L
15. Brush your teeth
16. Fix your hair
17. Clean your glasses
18. (If home) Splash water on face
19. Have a nice talk with: Ham, Shelby, Leah, Mr. Bear, Mr. Monkey, (or any of your rock collection). They care about you, and want to see you happy!
20. Take a nap
21. Organize your rock collection
22. Exercise or Yoga
23. Re-fold/organize your closet & dresser
24. A R T
25. Take nice shower
26. Work on HW
27. Organize your backpack & binder
28. Recall some things you like. Weather this be movies, books, or even ideas! Anything is up for discussion. Be sure to explain why you like it
29. (If can) Go to the library
