Long rant with an anticlimactic ending but someone gets punched in the face: I’m a social butterfly who can’t help but be a flirt. I love going out and hanging out with large groups of friends so, naturally, I meet a lot of guys. When they like me, I just politely tell them I’m not looking for a relationship right now. Usually, they accept it and, sometimes, we stay friends. Yay, friendship! Fast forward and I meet this man, we will call him Xander. Xander steals my heart and I’m giddy because I have my first legitimate boyfriend. I happily tell everyone about my precious Xander and most of my friends are like “omg! I thought you would die alone! I’m so happy for you!” But then there were my other friends. On the picture I post of my Xander and I, two of my male friends start ripping into me. “You said you wanted to be single grumble grumble.” “Now this a****** will take your virginity and leave you angry angry.” Then these idiots start fighting each other! Xander sees before I do and loses his mind. Everything blows up and I just try to block away the two guys. So, it’s finally over… Not! I get insulted by three more of my male friends and one is dumb enough to do it in front of Xander at a party, who proceeds to punch him in the face. I’m pissed because I don’t like violence and wish Xander have been more mature. I tell Xander it’s over because I don’t want to be with a man who can’t control himself. Well… That somehow ends with going out for ice cream. I’m delightful when I have chocolate so Xander and I get back together. Time travel another few weeks and suddenly more friends are angry at me because “so and so is really upset that you led him on.” “Whaaaaa?!” is my reaction. “Girl, you totally broke his heart!” they claim. Now we reach the present, where I am super confused and annoyed because I am just trying to live my life and nearly everyone’s being a weirdo. I just wanted to rant because I’m out of chocolate and remembered the game from high school (I lost the game).
