Once, I was home alone with my dog, and I looked out the window, cause a heard tapping. I assumed it was a bird, but instead it was a lady in black tapping. She looked sort of like my mom, but something was off. She said “Honey? Could you please let me in? I forgot the keys to the front door.” I got soo freaked out, I grabbed my dog and my phone and hid in the bathroom. When I didn’t answer, I heard her yell, “Come on Lizzie, open the door honey!” My name is not Lizzy, and my mom was in Japan for the month. I called my neighbor, and they called the police. No one was found at my house, except a bunch of scratches on the front door. We moved to the next street over a year later.

Just like in those stupid movies….if you feel unsafe or believe you are in danger…..call the police! That’s their job….to serve and protect.
There was a story in the media recently about a female cop who opened the wrong door to her apartment and there was a man in her apartment and she shot the man to death. It happens. She did the right thing calling the police.
