My mom just told me I will never make it in the real world just because I said I didn’t want to go to a college with a history of discrimination. I don’t see how not giving money to an institution who’s values I disagree with is going to cripple me in life. Then again my mom does think it is perfectly okay for her to say black people look like monkeys, and gays are “taking over society.” b**** get real, you are just bitter you never went anywhere in life.

  • Don’t pay attention to all that noise. The basics: Not everyone is college material. Whether you graduate from college or not you have to be able to make a living and support yourself and a family if you want one. An education is just that. It’s what YOU do with that education that counts. Your values are your values, that isn’t going to change because of where you go to school or what trade you may decide to take up.

  • Your mom is a bitch for wanting you to go to a place where you’ll get disrespected. Selfish of a mother. Not everyone is made for college, and many people still succeed without a lousy diploma. Hell, there is thousands of colleges around that’ll be better than one that discriminates others.
