i hate the opinion that spiders are good for pest control. people propagate this as if it’s a universal truth. spiders are NOT good for pest control. spiders are PESTS themselves. they leave cobwebs behind and all kinds of crap. baby spiders crawl all over everywhere once they hatch. if you have plants in the house, it’s even worse. they’ll destroy your plants. if spiders are good pest control then geckos are even better. they eat both insects and small house spiders. hate people who are spider defenders. just don’t talk to me tbh.
