Diabetes Type 1 and 2 New Medications:

Preamble:
Generally speaking, the Pancreas produces Insulin which breaks down the sugar content in the red blood cells.
What we eat and drink has a lot of bearing on the amount of sugar we put into our bodies, which the red blood cells transport around the body, clogging veins and causing horrid long term effects, which can be the early death of some of us Diabetics.
Type 1 Diabetics have a Pancreas which does not produce Insulin and they have to inject it into their Pancreas, whenever their blood sugar levels go high.
Type 2 Diabetics have a Pancreas which, for whatever reason, does not produce enough Insulin to break down the sugars, which are carried in the red blood cells , enough, so with time, if left untreated, Type 2 Diabetics can become Type 1 Diabetics, but a different sort of disease to Type 1, however with much the same end result.
As a Type 2 Diabetic, we are provided with an Accu-Chek device, which is like having the Devil on one of our shoulder blades, keeping us from overdoing whatever we eat or drink and here at least we are regarded as progressing to Type 1 Diabetes when our blood sugar test goes over 8.0 regularly and the doctor can recommend injections of Insulin, to keep our blood sugars down – although I have not progressed that far, just yet.

Type 1 Diabetics “Once a day Type 1 Diabetics pill” to be taken alongside existing Diabetics drugs “Forxiga” the first new treatment to combat Type 1 Diabetics in almost 100 years.
I suggest you speak with your doctor about the advantages, which are said to also help you lose weight

Type 2 Diabetics (which I am) . Last week my doctor put me on Glyade MR (gliclazide 30mg), one taken after food in the morning and for want of a better explanation, this medication kicks the Pancreas in the nuts and makes it produce Insulin, to break down the sugar in the red blood cells more efficiently:

Results for 2 days on this pill, with my daily Metformin intake:
Friday Lunchtime 6.0 (down from 7.9) Teatime 6.3 (down from 8.5)
Saturday Fasting 6.6 (down from 7.4) Lunchtime 5.0 (down from 7.9) I had a Desert Spoon of Jam to boot my blood sugar readings up, so that I did not pass out (first time ever) today. – day 2 and it looks like my blood sugars are restabilizing much lower than they have for years, with morning and evening doses of Metformin, as well, which my body has got used to.

My doctor said I will be on Metformin for life and that I can take up to 4 x Glyade MR at a time, so this looks like a much better option to the needle, for me and with new Diabetes drugs becoming available, who can tell what the future holds for all of us Diabetics.

If you know anyone with Diabetes Type 1 or Type 2, pass on this information to them and get them to speak to their doctors to find out more about the pills and if they can be put on them too.

However, a word of warning – no alcohol with Glyade – if you can’t give up your alcohol intake then these tablets are not for you and you face an uncertain future with chop chop and loss of sight, due to your blood sugar excesses and not a very nice way to die.

Me: Anything but that!!
R: Who suggested my salt water cure for Coronavirus, or any other sort of airborne virus, or pollution.
