I went on a date last night, this is the first date I have been on in several years since my wife passed away unexpectedly. I have not been interested in dating for years but I decided to give it a shot, I show up at the restaurant and wait, aaaand wait. She showed up 45 minutes later with her two kids !!, I was not sure what to do. They sat down and the waitress came up and they start ordering food before I can even ask what this is about, I was excited about this until it went south, I was very quiet until she asked me what was wrong (WTF DO YOU THINK IS WRONG!?) I was so angry ! I don’t think I will be going out on dates again.

Post-divorce or death of a partner dating is pure, white-hot hell. I dated too early and too much after my divorce (I know that now), met all sorts of nutcases, women who wanted to move into my house, kids who literally attached themselves to my legs, went through my phone, etc. Just crazies that turned me off to the whole thing. Then, got into an online argument with a beautiful, hot woman who messaged me and said “Oh, we have to meet”. We did, and had what I still call the best first date in first date history. Ended up falling in love, and still with her today. I was married for years, but, this woman is the love of my life.
