I took several IQ tests, and got between 148 to 150. I got member of some (0$ free) high IQ societies.
But, to be honest, that was very long years ago, when I was teenager. Now I’m almost 30, and I realized this is so stupid, that’s unbelievable how people do IQ Test and pay money for being a member. I’ll never pay for being member for Mensa, or others that you have to pay. I really see useless and stupid a “certificate” of your own intelligence. Real smart people doesn’t really care about this.. and they really focus on great business projects and high level careers, or even scientific projects contribution for any career department, they really are humble people. I am not smart as I think, I am just normal like any human being. That is just the opinion I have.

  • Is…is this supposed to be satirical? Because your grammar and wording are leading me to believe that. Because the way this is written doesn’t exactly scream “I’m intelligent” more like I dropped out and got a GED.

    • Your writing capability doesn’t change your intelligence. Some may have high IQ yet still want to talk informal through text x

    • English is not my native language, it is actually a learning progress… by the way the grammar does not define your intellect. I’m pretty sure you’re good writing my native language, don’t you think?

  • I agree completely, I took a few & got around 135-148 but most common was 145. I think IQ is ridiculous overall because a little number from countless tests doesn’t fully show your intelligence and capability to understanding things- in fact actions and mental ability portray “IQ” better than a number.
I rather do those tests for fun like how I did a few with some friends but because it’s brainwashed into us how “having a high IQ means your smart & a low IQ means your dense” my friends seemed a little downhearted when they scored lower than me; this did make me feel a bit guilty though.
I’m honest in the fact I don’t flaunt my score in fact I think I’m not as clever as my peers since I’m not a maths whiz or a fully fledged 16 year old teenager who can score all B’s, A’s or A*’s in tests, unlike my friends who can.
But I believe my intelligence doesn’t reside in academics rather social understanding, guidance and a mind which doesn’t turn off (rather rests for periods) and is able to view into certain things that I find some others can’t do. Multiple times many have suggested I should be a therapist, motivational speaker or political minister because of my abilities. Which often times I laugh at but see their point.
There are- like you say- many people with high IQ who are just humble people living their lives as any other, making a strive for success and ways to test themselves.

Any ways lovely you made this post because I rarely get to sit down and have a conversation with someone who believes similar lol, and sorry this is son long, enjoy reading! x
