If you have a big screen HD TV, connect a laptop, ideally i7 processor to your HDTV with an HTMI lead and watch all of your videos on your big TV in full colour and with sound.
Save all of your videos on 2TB hard drives for Windows 7 OS and bigger hard drives for Windows 10 OS, but these days you have to get supporting software from the Microsoft store and I can’t tell you about that, as I use Windows 7 on all of my PC’s except for MAC’s which run their own OS and I can’t suggest anything for them.
If you use DVD’s or BluRay, transfer everything to portable hard drives. Much easier.
Much more space and if you deconstruct a portable hard drive, down to the holder and USB SATA plug, you can buy 2TB hard drives (or bigger) on eBay and just switch them over, in about 30 seconds, after you have turned off each hard drive, which appears on the bottom right side of the toolbar on the bottom of your PC’s monitor. Plug and Play technology.
If you remove Hard drives without turning them off, that way, they often crash and don’t boot up again.
