To: I’m a registered s** offender for a crime I committed 10 years ago, at age 22. Me: Yes. You have a life, you were punished for whatever you were found guilty of and that is behind you now. Ask whoever you like out. They can only say Yes or No. If you move to a different location, will the people who live around you, also be told who you are and what you did, or can you hide that from them, by not telling anyone – of your past – and then carry on with your life “normally” registered or not? Can you meet up with s** offenders of the opposite s**, or are you banned from doing that, because of your conviction and theirs? Bad situation to find yourself in, especially if you are not allowed to hide within your community, because of your conviction, by the Police. There but for the Grace of God go any of us, these days and especially when the Accuser gets paid money as Compensation and the Laws have been changed so that you are automatically Guilty and you don’t get to protest your innocence, at Trial, as I found out to my cost, many years ago – before “Registration” became the procedure it is today – by the skin of my teeth – and DNA too – lucky me. Anyone reading this blurb. Don’t ever consider doing anything which might be later used against you, it is not worth the lifetime s*** you are made to carry afterwards.
Best Wishes………..
