To: I’ve had at least 5 panic attacks in the last 1.5 years, 2 of them were in the last 3 months Me: Panic Attacks are brought on by a shortness of breath. When you feel one coming on, breathe deeply and let the air out slowly from your lungs and keep doing that until the panic attack passes. Another way is to breathe into a brown paper bag. I’m not sure how that works, but apparently it does. Perhaps you might discuss the issues with your doctor, he might be able to suggest tablets which will stop the symptoms from occurring, if all else fails.
